Remaining motivated represents the most significant barrier to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, and to achieving optimal health and longevity. The Jurojin Motivation and Longevity Program dramatically enhances the participants’ motivational drive to conquer obstacles to health, fitness, and longevity through ten comprehensive health assessments or standards. These standards result in a rating that encourages gradual improvement in the participants’ health, fitness, and longevity over time.
JUROJIN
According to Taoist beliefs, Jurōjin (寿老人) is considered to be the God of longevity.
The Ten Jurojin Standards
The ten Jurojin standards include biometric disease markers, cardiorespiratory endurance, anaerobic power, joint mobility, muscle strength, isometric muscle endurance, and core stability. Individualized information targeting your specific need for improvement in one or more of these biometric and functional skill areas will be revealed through this process. Focus on gradual improvement in your score on each standard over time; the initial score value is relevant, but progress may be more significant when completing the follow-up assessment. All participants will receive both an assessment and overall score, which are available at www.jurojin.org. Standards are scored from 0-100, with an overall potential score of 1000 points.
